Have you ever found it hard to explain what Pretty Little Liars is about? Well, you’re not alone. Sometimes, even the Liars find it difficult to explain the teen murder mystery. So when you find yourself stumped by the series endless thrills and chills, take a page out of Ashley Benson’s book.
In a recent interview with Nylon magazine, Ashley described the show the only way she knew how: “People just keep dying.”
“And then more people end up killing people, and then that’s it,” she added. “I don’t even know how to describe the show anymore. There’s just so much going on.”
We feel ya, Ash! Sometimes it’s hard for us to wrap our heads around the drama in Rosewood. However, Ashley seems just as stoked as we are for Season 4.
“But this year, it’s really cool,” she teased. “I think people will really like it.”
Of course we’ll like it, Ashley! After all, showrunner Marlene King — and Ali DiLaurentis herself, Sasha Pieterse — have both promised us answers this season. Let’s hope those answers include: What’s in Wilden’s trunk?; can we trust Toby?; where the heck is Jason?; And why is Caleb leaving Rosewood for Ravenswood?!
